MindTree Spoken English and Grammar Round Updated 2021

This time MindTree has introduced the second round in its recruitment process that aims that testing a student’s practical verbal ability. The information about this round is given below:

Total no. of sections – 4
Total no. of questions – 71
Total time allotted: 45 minutes
Difficulty – Moderate

More information about the sections:

Section 1: Speaking English.
- Reading – 10 questions
  You will be given 10 sentences or short passages that you have to read aloud with correct pronunciation and grammar.
- Listen & speak – 8 questions
  for this round 8 sentences will be read out to you. You will have to listen to them properly and then repeat them aloud when asked.

Section 2: Topic Speak for 1 min
- 3 questions.
  For this section you will be given three topics simultaneously and you have to speak for a minute each. This will test your impromptu thinking capacity and knowledge about a topic.

Section 3 – Basic grammar MCQ –
- 34 questions
  This section is a general MCQ round that includes grammar questions from all the common topics in verbal.

Section 4 – Audio Comprehension –
- 16 questions
  For this section, a comprehension will be read out to you. You have to pay attention while the passage is being read and then answer the questions that will follow.
