Education qualification – TCS Mass Hiring 2024
  1. Percentage: Minimum 60% or 6 CGPA throughout academics, including the highest qualification, till the latest semester for which results have been declared at the time of appearing for the test process. The degree/provisional degree certificate must state that the candidate has cleared Engineering in ‘First Class’ at the time of joining if selected.
  2. Highest Qualification: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Master of Technology (M.Tech.) / Master of Engineering (M.E.) / Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) / Master of Science (M.Sc. / M.S.) in any specialization offered by AICTE / UGC recognized universities/colleges. 2024 Batch.
  3. Backlogs / Arrears / ATKT: No pending or active backlog/arrears / ATKT when appearing for the TCS Selection process. All pending backlogs/arrears / ATKT should be cleared within the course duration stipulated by the University.
  4. Extended Education: Not allowed. The course should be completed in the stipulated course duration.
  5. Gap / Break in Education: Mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. Overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification.
  6. Course Types: Only full-time courses (Part-time / Correspondence courses will not be considered).
  7. Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are eligible if the graduation and post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time.
  8. Work Experience: Candidates with prior work experience of up to 2 years are eligible to apply for this hiring process (Applicable only for postgraduate students).

TCS is offering different roles with varying salary packages for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) candidates:

  1. Ninja: 3.36 Lakhs per annum CTC for UG candidates; 3.53 Lakhs per annum CTC for PG candidates. Responsibilities include managing and supporting application development, enhancing systems engineering, and exploring next-gen technologies.
  2. Digital: 7.0 Lakhs per annum CTC for UG candidates; 7.3 Lakhs per annum CTC for PG candidates. Responsibilities include working on solution development and integration, driving internal initiatives focused on modern technologies, and contributing to TCS’ ventures in new product developments.
  3. Prime: 9.0 Lakhs per annum CTC for UG candidates; 11.5 Lakhs per annum CTC for PG candidates. Responsibilities include working on complex projects with advanced technologies and algorithms, exploring emerging tech for industry applications, and integrating system designs using tech, automation, and robust security practices.

The TCS NQT (National Qualifier Test) is an integrated test consisting of two sections: Foundation and Advanced. While all candidates are encouraged to attempt both sections, it is mandatory if you aspire for Digital or Prime roles. Based on the test performance, candidates will be shortlisted for interviews for Prime, Digital, or Ninja roles. The TCS NQT will be conducted in TCS iON Centers.

Test Pattern for TCS Recruitment 2024 Batch:

    • Numerical Ability: 25 minutes
    • Verbal Ability: 25 minutes
    • Verbal Ability: 25 minutes
  2. Part B – Advanced Section:
    • Advanced Quantitative and Reasoning Ability: 25 minutes
    • Advanced Coding: 90 minutes

Step 1. Login to the TCS NextStep

Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive

  • Scenario A. If you are a registered user under TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT / DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’
  • Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as “IT” and proceed to fill your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive.’

Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Centre) and choose your preferred test centre & then click on Apply.

Step 4. To confirm your status, check “Track Your Application”. The status should reflect as “Applied for Drive”.
