Education Qualification

Applicants must hold qualifications in the form of B.E, B.Tech, or MCA degrees.

Role Purpose

The main objective of this position is to create test scenarios and thoroughly evaluate the product, platform, or solution intended for client deployment, ensuring that it adheres to the highest quality assurance standards without any compromises.

Instrumental in understanding the test requirements and testcase design of the product

Validating test cases through peer reviews to minimize the need for rework.
Collaborating with the development team to identify and document test cases while ensuring version control.
Defining testing parameters, criteria, and the scope of testing, including involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Automating various stages of the test life cycle using methods such as VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation for enhanced efficiency.

To design and execute the automation framework and reporting

Create and automate software validation tests, including test environment setup, test plan development, and test case/scenario creation.
Ensure that reported test defects align with project/program/account standards and include clear descriptions and replication steps.
Identify and document software issues, preparing defect reports, and tracking test progress.
Avoid any rejections or delivery delays of completed work items, staying within Wipro/Customer SLA guidelines.
Design and timely share a test status dashboard after each test cycle with stakeholders.
Offer feedback on usability and serviceability, link results to quality risks, and report them to relevant stakeholders.

Status Reporting and Customer Focus on an ongoing basis with respect to testing and its execution

Maintain a high standard of customer communication quality, including email content, tracking fault reports, voice calls, and adherence to business etiquette.
Ensure punctual delivery of WSRs (Weekly Status Reports), Test Execution Reports, and updates in the Test Management repository.
Accurately record and update effort information in eCube, TMS (Test Management System), and other project-related tracking tools.
Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and avoid any instances of complaints, whether originating internally or externally.
