About the Role: As a Software Engineering Intern, you will: Thomson Reuters Off Campus Hiring 2024

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to innovative solutions. Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications or systems. Analyse and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high performance and availability of products. Participate in code reviews and adhere to best software engineering practices. Contribute to technical process documentation and software functionality. Engage in continuous learning to stay current with industry trends. Support workflow and process optimisation within the engineering department. Participate in team meetings and provide project updates. Integrate into a scrum team for a 6-month period. About You: You’re a fit for the Software Engineering Intern role if you:

Are currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an accredited engineering program. Have a solid understanding of software development and engineering principles. Are familiar with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar. Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can work independently and collaboratively. Are eager to learn new technologies and tackle challenging tasks. Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) of 7 or more on a 10-point scale.
  • Previous internship or project experience in a technical field.
  • Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., GitHub, Python, Junit, Mockito, Agile/Scrum).
  • Knowledge of databases, APIs, and web services. Exposure to AI/ML technologies.
